General Questions:

What services does a travel advisor provide?

Every travel planning journey starts with a one-on-one consultation. From there, I create a detailed proposal featuring a variety of vacation options, ranging from a simple itinerary to fully mapped "door-to-door" details. Once you've chosen your dream vacation, I handle all bookings, payments, logistics, and pre-travel documents. I'm also available throughout your trip for emergencies, questions, or last-minute changes.

How much does it cost to use a travel advisor?

For most all-inclusives, honeymoons, group tours, ocean cruises, river cruises, and Disney vacations, there is no fee, since I earn a commission directly from my suppliers. For fully custom vacations, a planning fee may apply to cover the extensive research and itinerary building involved.

Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking myself?

I'm not just passionate about planning travel, I'm a traveling advisor myself. I visit properties, meet with suppliers, and experience destinations firsthand to make sure your vacation exceeds expectations. Over the years, I've built real relationships with suppliers, hotel managers, and concierges, relationships that let me create experiences you simply can't book on your own. Leave the stress and logistics to me so you can actually enjoy your vacation.

How should I prepare for my first consultation with a travel advisor?

Before your first consultation, think about the type of experience you envision for your trip. You don't need a specific destination in mind, but having a general vision helps guide the conversation. Just as important is your budget. Come prepared with a comfortable budget range, since vacation costs can vary widely depending on accommodations, experiences, and how you choose to travel.

Can you help plan group trips, multi-generational trips, or corporate travel?

Yes, all three are a regular part of what I do. I plan multi-generational family trips where grandparents, parents, and kids travel together but each need something a little different from the experience. I also work with groups of friends, milestone celebrations, and destination weddings, coordinating everyone's arrangements while keeping the planning simple for the person organizing it.

On the corporate side, I partner with executive assistants and business leaders to plan incentive trips, corporate retreats, and travel for teams and organizations. Whether it's rewarding top performers or getting a family of ten to the same resort without anyone missing a flight, I handle the logistics so you don't have to.
